Wordpress Theme Release: Fire in I

After receiving a good response over my new theme “Fire in I”, I have decided to release it for public use. Hoping that it does well.

This is probably the only Indian Theme around available for Wordpress. So all those who feel the fire of an Indian burning in you, look no further to style your blog. Use it! Flaunt it!

Alternatively, you can also customize the theme to any concept or idea of your liking with some basic css editing and graphics modifications. I will be glad to extend any help towards it. Also, if you have any suggestions please leave a comment so that I can incorporate them in the next release. Already have a few modifications chalked out for the next release which should be out soon.

Creating such themes certainly takes time and money, and so I have gone ahead and added 2 sponsors to the theme. This sponsorship has allowed me to produce this theme, and will allow me to continue to produce quality themes for the Wordpress community. Hoping that the sponsored links will remain intact when you use the theme.

The theme is released under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 license.

A good theme yaar. But can be made better and can support higher resolutions as well.

Thanks a lot shashi for blogging about this new theme. Hoping that more Indian bloggers use it for their wordpress blogs.

And thanks for all those suggestions, some of them have already got working on. Also will be releasing some more styles for this theme in the next version.

Nice Theme,
1) Try to provide variation in background (Option to change the background colour).
2) Language file should be provided for localization to various Indic Languages.
3) Don’t you think top buttons are very small (Page buttons)

Love your Theme. Young and hopeful but also “made it” and progressive. Excellent! It would be great to have version 2 widget ready. It would also be nice if you modified your CSS template so that children of parent pages were indented with some margin-left so that the hierarchy stood out a little more. Keep up the good work and when you get some time take a stab at producing some more India themes. Hopefully you efforts will inspired others to follow suit.

Sorry for the late reply. Well the sidebar elements on this blog can be used by installing additional wordpress plugins. I will be releasing a widget ready version of this theme shortly.
