Good. True patriotism. That was a nice article. I am glad that there are a handful of people who are patriots. We all should respect & love our motherland, just like our own mother. As it is Republic day tomorrow, i'm writing some information about this.
26th January 1950 is one of the most important days in Indian history as it was on this day the constitution of India came into force and India became a truly sovereign state. In this day India became a totally republican unit. The country finally realized the dream of Mahatma Gandhi and the numerous freedom fighters who, fought for and sacrificed their lives for the Independence of their country. So, the 26th of January has been recognized and celebrated as the Republic Day of India, ever since.

You have rightly mentioned aseem , We should respect our country.
Being an Indian means that we should love each and every thing of our country
And If there is any mistake then we should take initiative to correct it.

Show me one prosperous country where people are not patriotic. I would say that one of the reasons India is not as prosperous is that its people do not love their country enough. What can't we have a thoughtfully planned road to prosprity like Kapan and Korea - why are we just thinking of how to maximize profits for every deal rather than thinking long term? We car too much for the white man;s approval - that is our weakness. If we loved ouselves enough - it should not matter what the world thinks of us - we should hold ourselves to a higher standard than the world holds us.
